Sent from OnePlus GM1910 using GAGT

Mine is still $0/mth. Ported TPG number to replace the old number around mid-May. :s13:

I recalled someone here mentioned only the no contract plans from the 3 traffic light telcos are called sim only plan. obviously it is not true.
even MVNOs call it sim only plan too. so no difference.

seems like giga! has two different saying of the excess data charge. which one is true? if i have finished the 5GB monthly for the $10 plan, can i continue to use the data and if i will be charged?

Port to the big 3 MNOs ST/M1/SH or the two MVNOs MR/CL that supports Transfer of Ownership.

How does that work tho?:s11: Last I checked a month ago Giga don't allow transfer of ownership. So even if they want switch to telco/mvnos that allow transfer of ownership, think it will not succeed? Unless they port over first with their own name, then request for a TOF once they are in the new telco. :s22:

I hope giga continue to block this TOF so people can only get numbers for personal use and not to sell it away.

just pop-in the excess giga card that you activated but didn't use :s13: Haha, but Giga CS have verified after we reached our plan limit we will not be able to use that service anymore until we purchase a boost, so it is still quite safe

I need to know becos I need to finish up the data before I port the number out but I dun want to incur extra charges. Prob is even their website has different info that cause confusion.

Cannot afford to ‘try’ as pay per use data chargeable by per KB can be insane.

From FAQ https://giga.com.sg/FAQs_Details.aspx?FaqCategoryName=Plans&FaqCategoryId=1

What if I exceed the data, mins or SMS available in my plan?

You will not incur any excess charges with giga. If you have fully utilized your data, mins or SMS in your plan before the next renewal date, your outgoing services will stop immediately, and you can simply stack on extras to continue with your service.

Just tested, indeed cannot use anymore if no more data left.
No doubt, MR lite will have a better experience for the similar plan. At least data used up still can continue to use l.
