1. set channel 1-11
2. set 20/40MHz and not 20MHz.
3. set wpa2-aes psk.

since these are not mentioned, I will have to give assumptions.

follow the above.

skip the repeater. it shouldn't even be part of your consideration.

Thanks for the help. But I have been using Channel 1 all the way and don't really find a difference in changing channels.

For the no.3 , do I set to wpa2 only?

Hi guys, I'm having problems connecting my Asus RT-N66U to the ONT directly. Current config is:

Select ISP: Manual

Internet: VID 1071 PRIO 1
IPTV (LAN 4): VID 1099 PRIO 1
VoIP (LAN 3): VID 1095 PRIO 1

(apparently LAN 4 and LAN 3 doesn't matter)
Authentication: disabled

Host Name: S/N of RG. found on sticker on RG (starts with PX...)
MAC Address: MTA MAC of RG. found on sticker on RG.

Is there anything wrong with this config? I can't seem to get it to work. Currently on bridge mode. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks!

Updated to the latest driver already.

It is DWA-525 showing 72Mbps.
On another computer which is using the DWA- 160 show max of 50+Mbps only.

Will get the screen shot when I get home tonight.

I know we are discussing about the dwa-525.

I just need to know if only dwa-525 is being capped at 20MHz or etc.

can you use the dwa-160 and plug into your computer where the dwa-525 is and screen cap?

somehow I have a feeling that your router is still throwing 20MHz to you might be due to conjested wireless. possible to set to 40MHz alone in your router?

Just want to confirm that you cannot stream to watch PP, FS and listen to KW, XM on Starhub?

I installed Win8 and these apps are available but just cannot stream. Wonder if it is due to Starhub?

Tried before. That's why I think the router is lousy. Anyway, the router is in my living room and the rest of the computers are in the room.

inssider? no download? I need to see what MHz your antenna is picking up.

Anyway, i am a past user of the router, i will say the range is pretty good for your case i have no idea why.

Anyway, i have moved on to ASUS RT-56U and the range is far superior than the D-Link.

I have no complains on the D-Link except web surfing with it that causes issues during intermittent timing hence the switch

I tested using my Andriod phone. Also cannot stream PP, FX, KW, XM, etc. I am using the D-link router provided by Starhub. Could there be some settings on the block that I have to enable?
