inssider? no download? I need to see what MHz your antenna is picking up.

Anyway, i am a past user of the router, i will say the range is pretty good for your case i have no idea why.

Anyway, i have moved on to ASUS RT-56U and the range is far superior than the D-Link.

I have no complains on the D-Link except web surfing with it that causes issues during intermittent timing hence the switch

I have went down to D-LinkCustomer Service to ask about the DWA-160. They seems to have the same problem, getting low signal too, so they replaced another set with different hardware version for me. Things seems to look good so far for the DWA-160.

However, the DWA-525 is still having the highest speed of only 72Mbps and I have downloaded the inssider. It is picking up 2.4Ghz channel at 52dBm.

I tested using my Andriod phone. Also cannot stream PP, FX, KW, XM, etc. I am using the D-link router provided by Starhub. Could there be some settings on the block that I have to enable?

ss on all of your settings.

Mine is the DLINK
None for 5Ghz because it's not dual band after all.

i think something is terribly wrong here. You made it sound like i have no idea that the N5402SP got no 5GHz.

Finally an inssider screen capture that i painfully waited.

btw, your pic superb big and slow to load.

based on the pic shown, your D-Link is not even on 40MHz.

if you are on 40MHz, you should get something like this:

picture1small.jpg

look at the first SSID (1+5)

or look at your picture on the TP-LINK_5460E8 (7+3)

my hunch is that your router is still giving 20MHz only, do you happen to reset your router back to 802.11g/n?

Double confirmed and checked. It is in 802.11n.

Oh wow, you guys are able to use your own router to connect to the ONT? I thought it wasn't possible.

Finally called Starhub last night cos i realise my connection keeps disconnecting during heavy usage of broadband.

Honestly, not sure if its the router or ONT.

Now i have to wait for some network guy to contact me again.

Must admit, my whole issue was handled rather professionally. 1st up a call from the customer service on Sat morning to check on my issues then today, this morning the Starhub technician came over to swop the Dlink router for a new one.

I guess in a way they're not sure what is the issue, and the simplest solution was to swap the router.

And my internet connection has been up and running non-stop for the whole day already (fingers cross). Yesterday, my internet died on me almost twice. Anyway, now bonus is also my dl speeds have increased almost 2 fold as previously with better wireless receptions.

Guess its my router that was causing my issues previously.

Fingers cross that it does not go downhill from here on.
