Maxinfinity has 50mbps upload, maxonline has 10mbps upload. theoretical download is the same, but it depends on the users in your area. the more people sharing, the slower it is.

your question is very vague, but anyway, try to go to http://192.168.0.1 and adjust your wireless settings?

Previously i have this issue with the older firmware so i changed the configure of my router to:

Beacon Period : 100
DTIM Interval : 1

then is alright. Now i don't know if it is still the same issue

My Beacon Period and DTIM settings is the same as yours.. you mentioned older firmware.. How do you upgrade to the newest firmware?

latest is 47 which i have seen a number of issues.

i have not use the router since 46.

the update is done w/o your knowledge by Starhub

Gribber, what are the issues on the 47 firmware? I am currently using that **** router so it does concern me a lot

Yup I'm on 47.. now waiting for their engineers to give me a call. They said quite a number of people also with the same prob.

Anyone use proxy server with star hub maxinfinity?

Currently i have both M1 and Starhub fiber installed.

I am using I device to access Internet.

Both users the same setting for proxy server.
On M1 I can surf.
On Starbub I can't.

For now speedtest shows M1 100mb works as well as Start 150mb.

Any recommended testing tools on iOS, android and windows.

Anyone encountering problems with Google playstore on android devices? Can't seem to download any apps from playstore. Surfing and youtube is fine. Just downloading apps from Google playstore on android.

whats the best torrent speed of BT on maxinfinity 150?

im on 16mpbs MOL express and can max out at around 1.6mps. considering all torrenting variables are excellent, what type of bt speed should i be expecting?

Just signed up for the MaxInfinity 150Mbps. Hopefully no problems will arise from it. Really very close to switch to purple camp but thinking of the Hubber discount, I decided to stay with StarHub for another 2 years. Hopefully all will go well for me.

I too get the same problem since last Thurs. Able to download some apps from Google Play but unable to perform any app update at all. Have no problem doing update via 3G or other wifi networks.

SH don't allow upgrade of MOL cable to fibre when there is currently still 1 year left in contract?

It would very much depend on whether you get any freebies with the contract. And I Starhub provide you a sliding scale of payment you have to make if you terminate current contract early.

For freebies, their recovery period is the whole contract period ..
