If it was jumping the gun, that is certainly not me. I have consulted Starhub on all major technical issues that i encountered, and as a paying customer have the right to expect them to solve it in a timely manner. Sadly, they fail most times in that aspect.

If you are pissed off with me for quoting your messages that show your inconsistent and contraditive statements, please accept my apologies. Peace.

Nah, I am only pissed why didn't you quote my messages that shows zero shaping instead of going around finding faults and blaming shaping that is.

What kind of issue?

Intermittent lag spikes, regardless of wi-fi or direct cable. :zz Then when I call em, skip the usual procedures.. they will say "refer to back end engineer". When the engineers finally calls like 2-3 days later, the problem is gone. :z

Morning... 2-3days?

Anyway, that sounds terrible. Hope it would get resolved soon.

Sorry if i hurt your ego in any way. As i have mentioned in my last post, i didn't mean to expose you, it just happened that your comment was a direct reply to my post. I searched through my posts and bingo.

Back to the main topic, none of the major issues that i encountered with Starhub are related to BT, as i don't use it much. Much of the issues are related to DNS, downtime etc. Feel free to share your findings.

Quite common, i also called them previously about an issue with the DNS, they kept asking me to check my router etc. In the end the CSO called back few hours later asking me if all is fine as the engineer fixed something at the backend. Most of the time there is nothing much we can do until they fixed it.

Some websites require me to refresh the second or even the third to load fully... What is wrong with the internet in Singapore

Speedtest is fine.

But funny thing is some websites recognize my location as Hongkong.
Otherwise web surfing and downloading is normal.

Starhub is dishing out the shxx again.

Some pages won't load for me. Last night was the same, when i tried this afternoon, it was fine. Now the issue is back again tonight.

When i go to yahoo.com, it now shows me the hong kong version.
