I just called them. They allow me to upgrade to 1gb plan.
I'm into 1 year contact. So next Monday on will restart 2 years with them kudos to starhub

Has signed up and set up an installation date on Thursday. Now seeing your speedtest made me regret my decision to recontract to 1Gbps.

The speed direct from ONT is still 600Mbps+?

As I did speedtest regularly and I noticed for the last 2 months if you picked the Starhub server to do your speedtest, the results is very erratic and not accurate. Since then I've been selecting SingTel server to do the test or use Starhub bandwidth tester.

Tried using IE? On chrome i am also getting 600 but on IE i could hit 900+MB/s

Did on Chrome and IE.. Both giving me same reading..

Equipment Used
ONT -> Asus N68U -> Asus N66U.
Both router using Merlin Firmware.
PC connect by wired.

Issue encountering at first
Speed stuck at around 300-400mbs max.

Did a reflash to Merlin Firmware and reset to factory default.
Speed went up to the above..

Merlin? Think you did not enable NAT accelerator thus the "stuck" with default firmware

Merlin hv that fixed though.

Yes they xchange a new ONT with voice for me..

Connect ONT direct to Asus N68U Router..
Transfer my digital voice from the old modem to the new ONT.

Now super happy with the speed..Get more pay less!

Did not change anything.
Just Flashed, Reset to factory default and do the quick setup.
That is all.

Today, now waiting for Starhub. Told me 6pm but somehow I'm able to use now.
I use rmerlin fw, now there's a CTF under NAT accelerator. Hope later can get at least 900mbps
