Today, now waiting for Starhub. Told me 6pm but somehow I'm able to use now.
I use rmerlin fw, now there's a CTF under NAT accelerator. Hope later can get at least 900mbps

Ehhhh.. U upgrading to 1GB speed is it??

Do a direct ONT Connection to yr pc and test the speed.. Dont go thru any router first..

If speed show 900/900.. and after u connect to yr router it drop..
means router need to check out.

StarHub will activate it earlier so that you can use it once they installed. Don't have to wait for activation.

I hope the Fibre TV which I'm also taking up won't use up much bandwidth.

No Leh.. They have to change the ONT.. The Speed is tie to the ONT.. So if u still using the OLD ONT it will still be on the old plan.

No le. That's not what the sale person told me. We are still able to use the 1Gbps speed from the old (white) ONT but we have to use cable modem for the voice if we have it. If not by changing to the new VeONT, it is to include the voice home through the ONT.

Haha I haven't been turning off my cable modem since god knows when! They will change to the new VeONT when they are here on Thursday. I hope it won't affect bthe bandwidth by much.

My digital voice was on Cable modem.
They still provide the Voice ONT..
Call the CSO to switch my digital voice line to the new voice ONT.
Motorola Cable Modem throw away in the dustbin.

Internet on and off. I did speed test sometime 800mbps sometime 500mbps

1Gbps Fibre broadband doesn't come with free mobile broadband only HomeHub 1000 comes with it. Call them to check safer.

Hopefully when I re-contract they will only renew the FBB contract and the rest will be remained same.
