Hi guys, anyone facing this issue of intermittent connection drops?

For web browsing I very routinely get this error, almost once every couple of minutes.

This webpage is not available

ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

I only just switched to SH today from another provider, and am still using the same router, as such I am 99% positive it is not a router issue. Even went to reboot and restore the router to factory settings. But still facing same issue.

Anyone with the same experience and managed to solve this problem?

same problem. did u manage to solve your problem??

any sales guy around here ?
my cable is out of contract already and looking to recontact to fiber

same here, my sh cable 25mbps contract ending soon. sh offering me their StarHub Dual Broadband 200 for $39.90
200 fibre
100 cable
dont see why need 2 boardband services :s11:

those service providers keep pushing us to pay more $$ for thing that we dont really need. before i jump over to sh was on singtel adsl then contract end st push me to pay more for their fibre so i jump over to sh cable. now sh pushing again. the 25mbps cable i using now is good enough for me.

now i looking at M1 1gpbs for $39
any cheaper plan out there? i saw m1 200mbps for $29 but think the deal was over.

Ditto, I switched from ADSL to SH due to the price of the 25Mbps plan and but it is expiring soon. SH is trying to force their customer to pay more. I am gonna wait for the M1 200Mbps $29/month at the end of next month IT show. I hope its available. Then I can say screw you SH!

able to call starhub and get a deal.

free freebies
dual band wireless router
$50 ntuc voucher

the 100mbps good enough for me.
think they are phasing out cable sooner or later so better jump over to fibre if possible.

for those thinking 100mbps is slow
in theory for 100mbps it can download

750Mb per min
45Gb per hr
1.08Tb per day

go calculate what 200bmps or 1Gpbs can do :s22:
for average home user 100mbps is way more than enough

should I do early contract to dual broadband 200 since my 100Mpbs cable modem is due sep next yr end

On 01 Nov Sun I call 1630 for the free fibre promotion, so they make appointment and given my earliest appointment is yesterday morning or afternoon, so I selected 11am to 1pm.

They came to my house to install the nucleus connect with voice ONT and given a free Dlink DIR-850L router. I done some tracert and speedtest, twitch at peak hour source quality no problem via lan not wifi.

As I moving house end of this dec, from blk 284 yishun 4A flat to blk 330 yishun 5A flat, can my cable modem 100 mbps still can use in my new house no issue as I have digital voice in it for cisco wireless router cable modem? I afraid that once I done early contract, my cable modem not working very well in new house?

My old house need to have internet connection so I get a cheap fibre broadband, but M1 does not have free router need to pay additional S$5 but S$29 200mbps plan were issue with old Asus N600 router instead. I have a viewqwest fibre connection 2 years contract S$50 1GPBS plan and asus ac68u router will be relocated to new house instead.

The dlink DIR-850L issue were using version 2.06 latest firmware default setting can do UPNP but once if I enable IPv6 Upnp not working in application like bitcomet, just send e-mail to dlink waiting for their reply.
