depending on your contract, for most users the routers are bundled in part of the deal with them hence no.

Fibre plan up today with the below setup.

Huawei HG863->DLink DVG N5402SP

I have a Engenious 9850, can I use this to replace Dlink router?

Based on the current setup, when I am using mobile to surf, whichever websites also cannot connect and shows "unable to find the requested server."

Is my configuration incorrect? Can someone please help?

This is very good!! Is it the same setup as mine? I tried surfing in my room while the router is in living room. Cannot connect and have to refresh the page a few times before it can be connected.

I called starhub cso and told him about poor connection, he mentioned that fibre is not 100% setup yet. I asked further about the phone being unable to surf using wifi, he mentioned that he doesn't know anything on blackberry and it may need more steps in configuration! >.< Really bad experience today... Hopefully I will get it solve soon!

hi guys, i just got my maxinfinity 100mbps and after my setup i'm getting really crappy speeds especially upload speed and i'm really desperate for some help

Hardware
Modem: Huawei HG863
Router 1: D-Link N5402SP
Router 2: Linksys E4200
Homeplugs: Aztech HL115EP 500mbps

For d-link router, i only turned off the wifi, not sure if that is enough

* Connection to PC is wired
* Tested at least 3 times on speedtest to get average
* Wifi on Router 2 is turned off during test

Conclusions from test results:
- Homeplugs and 2nd router is slowing the speed by half each, which ends up with 1/4 of the raw speed
- Homeplugs + router 2 seem to be capping my upload speed to 0.99 mbps which is vv bad

having problems since started using on 17/05/12. The page cannot be display is a main issue to me. And try some downloads from download.com, the speed is abt the same as my maxonline express n sometimes even slower. this maxinfinity 100mbps is hopeless...

Anyone using D-Link N5402SP got Android wireless issue can try this settings:

Router webui > Advanced > Advanced Wireless > Advanced > DTIM Interval: 1

instead of 100.

it should solve your issue.

will appreciate if some mods could actually edit this in on post #3 of this thread.
