Sorry about that. On wired connection tested using starhub broadband utilities and speedtest.

if you are allowed to use your own router, do a direct connection from your pc to your starhub ONT and see if the speed is still slow.

I think the problem lies in my NIC. It suppose to be Auto and set to 1Gbps after switching to N66u i can only get 100mbps and direct ont also get 100mbps. Is there something i miss? before this the d link router from starhub i can get 1gbps on my NIC.

Hi Guys, I am using the starhub 150mbps fiber optics plan. Whenever I download from International website, the max download rate it can ever go is 2.5 Mb/sec. Is this the normal speed or can it go much faster than this speed for 150mbps plan?

Why not all in one unit for fibre?

Hi specialists in Fibre

I am suffering from wifi outings with different wifi enabled devices.

in the beginning i used the huawei RG but reading the early posts and experience slow internet and bad WIFI covergae convinced SH to exchange for a D-link unit.

except for Wifi all works better then the Huawei.

i was surfing and found a modem/ router / gateway with voip.

ref to this unit : 1000vn from Draytek

draytek.com/user/PdInfoDetail.php?Id=145

question is will it work on SH network with VOIP etc?
I feel we now using a lot of hardware thats unwanted and clogs my view. why not all in one.

If it could work I want to bring a unit to SGP

thanks

PJ

150mbps is for local traffic only.

international is capped at 16mbps

Doing a scan through this page and seems like everybody is having wifi issues. :(

Is there anyway in the router settings that we can maximise the signal output to make it work better for D-LINK DVG-N5402SP?

Nope.. Been there.. Dlink is indeed better than Huawei in signal strength. Suggest get a new router ba. Life will be more peaceful.
