Huawei rg actually is also good, just firmware is bugging it's wireless performance what.
then go get 1 with "superior" firmware and bring it to me, else, it is inferior and will stay as it is.

So how do you change the firmware?
Because the wireless signal is quite unstable at times.

Perhaps I was luckier than you, they asked me to choose any date after CNY

Got fed up waiting. Called them and confirmed installation this week. Hopefully, no airplane pilot!

Anyone use Belkin Play Max to connect to this Huawei RG ? I tried to set what recommended but somehow it still cannot detect the internet connection.
This is what I tried to set :
1. On Huawei, my ip add is 10.0.12.1
2. On Belkin, my WAN ip add set to statis is 10.0.12.2
3. The LAN ip add for the Belkin itself is 10.0.12.3
4. DMZ setting on Huawei set to 10.0.12.2
But after all those settings, the Belkin still cannot detect the internet connection.
so hows the installation??
your huawei don't even have a ip from what i can see from here...
unless i misunderstand you...

I put the ip of Huawei to 10.0.12.1
If you're using MarineX instruction, then the LAN ip added for the Belkin must be different subnet from your Huawei. Since your Huawei Lan ip range is 10.0.12.x, your Belkin should be 10.0.20.x for example.
Well, thanks for the advice.
I did try to set the ip of Belkin to 10.0.13.x but then this Belkin still cannot detect the internet connection. Somehow it cannot really use the connection from this Huawei.
It should be simple but somehow for this Belkin, it is not. If anyone has this router, let me know if you have tried the config suggested by MarineX
