Cannik and Stillnox: May i know if both of you have encountered the issue for Thursday and Friday?

I have not encountered any "Connection Reset" error since Thursday(last occurance Wed) BUT I am facing frequent "Server Not Found" error that goes away quickly. All websites even HTTPS are affected. This may be a side effect of a fix if Starhub attempted to fix the issue.

is anyone getting slow loading speeds this past few days? i'm on maxinfinity ultimate. i restarted my huawei router a few times alr but i'm still getting slow speeds.

not issues at all since thurs but i only get to use the pc at home at 11pm due to hectic work load so have no idea about the other timing.

Because he's my real life friend for 13 years and still counting

sorry ceecookie, dun have record.. i have not set up the hypercam and loadevery yet.. i only get to surf at night.. the only record i have on hand are those that i log here the other time..

I suspect it might be due to heat issue...
It ran quite hot when i stack it above my ONT...

Even standalone it still quite hot

Now i configure all mine to "standing" mode

Frankly, no, cannot be the downtime is consistant for few user. distance and heat is not the issue. Abt 5 other user here are facing the issue at the same timing..

alot of people are speculating for the wrong reasons on our issue. anyway I have a couple of the same **** for today.

i dun know abt that..but i am pretty sure that at least u me and ceecookie are facing the same issue.. also to ceecookie, are the tiiming fix.. i just got a down at 10.31.. exact same time as the one i log here the other day.

No disruption to-date since Thursday. The 404 Server Not found error also have not appeared since mid-afternoon today. Will monitor further and update here

U can identify which problem you are facing with Firefox.

If it is the original problem that so plagued all of us, Firefox will state "Connection Reset" for 5 seconds up to 1 minute.

The 2nd problem which only surfaced on Thursday(after the last occurance of the original problem) was "Server Not Found" which is actually the infamous 404 Server Not Found error. However, when u click refresh the website load properly. This may be a side effect of the solution to the original problem(that SH applied to my residence), but since i emailed them yesterday, it has not surfaced since mid-afternoon.

Hi, I thinking of signing up StarHub fibre plan. However, my fibre point is at my living room but all my equipments are inside my bed room. Can I connect as the following way

TP->ONT->home plug 1->home plug 2->Gateway->switch.

on chrome.. i am seeing all sort of error.. sometime i know is the same problem.. sometime i think is the wireless.. i have yet to change the 3rd router... thou the "faulthy" router cfm by dlink seems to be working, or is it working??? that why i am noting doing the recording thingy yet.. i need to cfm is the router no issue 1st..

have they remove the wireshark? Whats the issue they say that was causing the connect reset issue??

No. it is still here, I will probably disconnect and turn the equipment off manually on wednesday.

They have not updated me at all on what was causing the issue and the solutions if any.

i will definitely turn it off on monday. no updates and drawing my electricity for nothing on top of that i have to pay my cranky net bills.

the site survey imo is long enough the problem is too obvious and have no need for further monitoring.
