can i take 1 as a example?

so you are trying to access a device which is 192.168.1.200:3349?
and hence from outside it should be DDNS:3349 right ?

so can i confirm, your 192.168.1.200 device remote page is configured as 3349 as well ?

and btw, I don't quite understand if the VS provided by Dlink is intermittent, does that mean you are using the VS from TP-Link instead? So your above VS is from TP-Link ?

Before the addition of the TP-LINK to the setup, I tried using DLINK Router itself and the Virtual server would some times work and another time it would not work for any devices inside my own network.

I added the TPLink to the setup so I don't have to use the DLINK Virtual Server functionality (used DMZ only).

Yes the 192.168.1.200 is a Win 7 machine and has software open waiting on port 3349. Port 9 is for WOL and 8888 is for Panasonic IP camera.

Wondering if the problem is still with the DLINK Router (DMZ)??

Any effect if you turn OFF the Firewall on Dlink & leave it ON for TPlink?

so still waiting huh?

you know best thing for me is return back from overseas work and find that my house already no chance to do termination ...

You can do termination any time you want. In the starhub contract there's no duration defined as "cooldown period". Even if its the last final month, if u lodge a claim with SCT u may still win :s22:

Actually i do beg to differ about BW. I do get the max speed on certain sites like Youtube and local sites. Its only overseas sites that is lower

Called D- Link Starhub line 6501 4280 and they have declared the brand new set defective and Starhub is coming tomorrow with another new set. Hopefully it will solve the issue. Will update once replaced.

Replaced new set but same issue! It took Starhub 3 hours to get my new set activated! Now it looks like I have to switch to the Huawei router if I want Virtual Server working as it doesn't work with the 46 f/w on the Dlink properly!

Anyone able to put the stock Dlink f/w to replace the crap Starhub f/w? :s12:

No way.. the firmware is customised for Starhub..

Get a new router like Asus 56U. I also gave up on the Dlink

I tried to use my TPlink router but virtual server isn't working through that config. Looks like DMZ is not working well on the DLINK as well. I need VS working. So I assume your bridged the ASUS 56U to the DLINk and put the Asus in the DMZ? Are you having VS issues?

grin grin.. On Starhub??? How?

Actually, for n56u, already there's a beta firmware with Preset VLAN for Starhub MaxInfinity Plan. To-date, no one have step forward to confirm whether it's working or not though :(

New StarHub MaxInfinity preset beta. Those concerned, please help to test. Note that this firmware may not work as intended with regards to Digital Voice if my assumptions are wrong, since the info from weap0nx seems to indicate some uncertainty with the VoIP VLAN info. I am just taking a stab here with VID 1095 PRIO 1 for this beta.

https://docs.google.com/open?id=0BwoI4L1-ZubFSFIxT19DUExLQzg

ps: compiled by Asus rather than myself, since I had some problems with my build environment, and I have no time to spare to redo my vm for the third time.

Purpose of the above firmware is to test and confirm specifically two things: Digital Voice parameters and if different MaxInfinity plans use different VLAN IDs. Please report what SH plan you are using, and whether internet/voip works as intended.
