In my opinion still starhub the best... :D
I also just realised that all ISP provides Megabitps plan and myrepubl price plan is actually to attract people etc...

one question is, can u guys share ur preffered router settings (wifi channel etc) ? Bcoz i tried using note 3 that is ac dual band enabled(connect to 5ghz) , but still getting dload speed of maximum 50plus mbps on speedtest using starhub mobile server.... it shud be more mbps on ac right?

sorry i didnt get which router you are using and the range you are at.

Wireless N on a note 3 i could get 100Mbps (down and up)
Wireless N on my notebook (Intel 6235) i could get 150Mbps (down and up)

both @ 5GHz

my plan is Starhub 150Mbps.

use inSSIDer to determine your the channels that are less crowded around your area and use it.

i will recommend to put the router on higher ground as well.

if you are still unable to hit the desired speed similar to mine at least, screen shots your wireless settings on your routers for us to guide further.

If using note 2** , connect using 2.4Ghz maximum dl speed can get is 37-40mbps.

If connected to 5Ghz maximum dl speed i can get is 57-62mbps.

For note 3** , using 5Ghz maximum can get also ard 60mbps...

I just tried doing speedtest again just now and these were the results :

NOTE 2** : 2.4Ghz = d/l 36.42mbps u/l 37.30mbps
5Ghz=d/l 70mbps u/l= 63.82mbps

NOTE 3** : 2.4Ghz= d/l and u/l speed more less similar to NOTE 2's.

5Ghz(Dual band AC)=d/l 245-250mbps u/l 250mbps ish....

I am finally satisfied with the 5ghz ac speed because i*can finally get the acquired speed since is AC...However I am still confuse why I cant get the speed yesterday and the first day fibre installed.....

Maybe its bcoz its still under probationary period?

Anyone having a lagging connection to Twitch recently? Can't even stream 720p without stuttering. Hits 100Mbps consistently to Starhub's own test server though.

no issues with other streaming sites. Have not tried Twitch at all

Anyone able to successfully get IPV6 working on the RT-N66U??

i can get it working on N56U though. No $ for 66U :)

It was working on an earlier firmware but now IPv6 seems to be broken...

Me. It was reported to starhub already and they reproduced the problem on their end and later coming back harping the same story stating twitchtv is the cause of the problem blah blah.

Puzzling though. . People on other ISP's don't have this issue

Original firmware? Mine has problems with the original. I am using padavan firmware for my router

Was using Merlin firmware earlier. Just tried the latest firmware frm Asus & its still having the same issue.

Looks like Asus still needs to work on it's IPv6 code..

I used to use RT-N66U before upgrading to AC router. However, during that time, Starhub IPv6 does not work with DHCP-PD on Asus RT-N66U. I heard that the recent firmwares have solved it.

What's your experience with it? Still cannot work? I am thinking of getting the RT-AC68U and use my current DIR-868L as an access point. But I want IPv6 to work.
