Got a reply from TP Link about the load balance router

The dual-WAN function could improve the bandwidth available for the whole intranet, however, it is not attributed to per host.

For example as you described in the last mail, the total bandwidth for LAN side could up to the sum of two ISP services, but if you test with one Internet session such as downloading file by IE browser, the one session will only demand one export in this situation and you may find no for the bandwidth will only up to one service. So if you want to run field test, we recommend you can test by P2P download which will establish multiple sessions for both WAN ports and make the maximize the use of both ISP services to boost the speed.

So means if i climb hill i get better performance is it?:s11:

question here

i am using nucleus ONT port 1 MR with 2 more months left.
just now got OpenNet guy knock my door come to open Port 2
i not at home as SH did not inform me.

I made appointment with SH to come on 22nd July (when my MR near to 24 mth)
but why do OpenNet need to open Port 2, can't they just come 22nd and replace Port 1 with SH ?

also the port opening, can only done by OpenNet team?? SH team people cannot do and they only can come setup my hubstation etc. on 22nd?

i don't know your scenario is it same with me but

Was with MR ....using white ONT
Subscribe SH in Nov 13...

avoid downtime no internet...SH install on Port 2 on my existing ONT ...days before MR service being terminated...

then few days later MR then end...

Starhub just came to install my fibre network + cable tv + Digital Voice.

They used port 2 on my huawei ONT to activate Maxonline. while port 1 i`m still running MR.

And of course, digital voice and cable tv is still via cable.

But as of now, 1 hour after the installer left, my Maxonline still not up.

oh, and only 1 trip. they used the ont supplied by MR

Quick Question.

If my Motorola Cable modem that I use for voice call is spoilt, can i just buy another modem (from other buyer) to replace it ?

Does it need to be tagged by Starhub or those lengthy admin stuff ?

I'm getting less than 10mbps from my 100mbps connection now.

Even when I'm using wifi right next to the router, the speed is still below 10mbps.

What wireless adapter? Try using wired? What router? What configuration?

router? have you try wired connection?

note 2 is not a good tool for speedtest benchmark.
