Yea i realised, there's no MLO for the secondary mesh (710).
Feels kana cheated. Means now if i want to have nice mesh on my devices, i need to connect to the 6g network right. Cause being on the MLO network does not move my device to the other node when i go to the other rooms.
Oh my god.
And Airplay might be an issue right since i do not have a unified network name for all the bands?
Actually just one 810 already can do the job and if want second router just use a cable connection.Yea i realised, there's no MLO for the secondary mesh (710).

For my 810, the wifi for MLO is named as XXXXXXX_MLOI did not test this myself when I briefly tested Archer BE805 + HB710 combination with wireless mesh, unfortunately I can no longer test this combination since they are deployed in two locations now.
During my brief tests, I found that it was not possible to use MLO for wireless backhaul. I could not even get 6GHz as the backhaul, only 2.4GHz+5GHz. Then I could also manually add the MLO SSID and 6GHz to the HB710, but with a different name from the Archer BE805. But I think that is not what you want.

Maybe the users of EB810v+HB710 can check for you.
In any case, MLO SSID is no faster (usually slower) than 6GHz SSID in all my tests of Archer BE805 and HB710. In fact, it is completely broken with my Archer BE805 + Acer WiFi 7 laptop combination (very slow and high latency), after an Intel BE200 WiFi 7 driver update recently. I tend to blame Intel more for this issue though, since it was working better previously (even though no faster than 6GHz band).
So I will suggest you to use 6GHz and 5Ghz SSID any way for your main devices. You may want to disable MLO if that is causing confusions for your use case.
That being said, TP-Link EasyMesh is still evolving and it may get better in the future. As of now, it is not as good Deco Mesh or Asus AIMesh. That is also why I mention in other posts that Deco Mesh is better but it is more expensive (eg: if you go with Deco BE85 x 2).
I do not think Airplay is an issue but I cannot test this myself. Hopefully other EB810v+HB710 can check.
BTW, there are multiple issues reported for M1 users' Asus ZenWiFi BT10 AImesh as well, but MLO wireless backhaul is working there.

Had a WA message from StarHub for 5gbps plan.
Got a call back and opted for the ONR version.
Needed to get promo as a new account/user. And not for recontract.
But I didn’t make new account/email.
The CSO just asked if my other fibre point is ready.
They will install on the empty fibre point and port over my DV.
Once that is done, can cancel current 1Gbps line and return the ONT.
Much better than mine, I also received yesterday - $45, is this really a promotion?
”re-contract broadband from 1GB to 5GB. Currently we are having this promotion it’s the 5GB (5000bps) UltraSpeed Broadband plan for a lower price @ $45 nett /mth (Including 9% GST) for a 2 years contract. It includes a Build In ONR (Wi-Fi 6) modem and a Nokia Beacon2 router (FOC)”
I just do not understand why some have the promotion while some never got the promotion at all. We are all the same SH customers so why some got it and some never. Why? What happened? That is not a promotion at all, just the same on the website.
If you cannot get the Starhub 5Gbps recontract offer at S$30.37 per month, you can always sign up as new user with the Starhub 5Gbps at S$29.55 per month promotion. Starhub allows that as long as your contract is near to the contract expire date. In fact the WhatsApp message mentioned is just like that. Technically it is still a new sign-up. It is just the sales representative makes it a bit easier for the user.
You can also go to the Starhub shop to see if you can get the S$29.55 per month offer or S$30.37 recontract offer.

I rcv an offer $40 for 3gbps, the guy on the phone didnt event bother to counter any offers when I told him M1 has 34.90 for 6gbps plus a way better router.Much better than mine, I also received yesterday - $45, is this really a promotion?

the free TP HB-710 option seems to be back.
for new installation, M1 option at $34.90 (with free BE805) is still more worth than Starhub at $29.55 (Starhub with homeline is +$2?)?
(i.e. is BE805 worth $5.5 / $3.50 more per mth)
Or for basic household with not demanding users, just go for the cheaper option?
(for now, most client devices are not WiFi 7 ready anyway...)
and the new place should only be ready in Apr.
Anyone scheduled >1mth in future for the installation?
Coz SH website only have dates till mid-march
Actually ISP is quite massy in term of promotion. They also offer me special offer but not everyone can get it. That time peak hours slow down then I use it to get my ONR changed to ONT and Router. I just suggested something nice for Homehub+ Ultra Speed promotion.Unfortunately this is quite common if you take a look at the SingTel/M1/Starhub threads. Some users will get the nice "targeted offer" and some users will not. How they decide who to give targeted offer will usually not be transparent to the users.
Then SingTel and Starhub will also have kind of hidden links offer where those who knows and those who do not know will in the end pay very different pricing.
Just an example, Starhub 5Gbps plan is listed as S$45 per month on their website. But then the hidden links will be at S$29.55 per month only (technically for new users but existing users can sign up as well as long as contract near to expiration date). Kind of unfair but that is the reality now.
You should ask for Targeted Recontract Offer instead and never talk about M1 as SH customer pool is bigger than M1. Also say Singtel.I rcv an offer $40 for 3gbps, the guy on the phone didnt event bother to counter any offers when I told him M1 has 34.90 for 6gbps plus a way better router.
I’m out of contract before Covid. So….I just do not understand why some have the promotion while some never got the promotion at all. We are all the same SH customers so why some got it and some never. Why? What happened?
Can always call them to ask for targeted recontract promotion which is easy to get.I’m out of contract before Covid. So….
