Stashaway just send out a email survey for new product. One of the question asked was Cpfis investment. If they can launch Cpf investment with low fees I might consider moving my funds from endowus to Stashaway.

Hi I’ve actually already signed up for StashAway but not sure if a referral code will still entitle me to 6 months no fee.

Can someone pm me their referral code? Thanks!

You just need to Whatsapp the Customer Service with the referral code, and tell them you forgot to input when signing up. They'll manually add it for you, but you must also give the referrer's email address as well, if do it the manual way.

StashAway I would recommend don’t lump sum at a go if the market is good

Else the return is terrible

did stashaway increase the fx cost? now sa apply interbank rates for currency conversions instead of the previous spot rate + 0.08% fee. i deposited both on the same day and syfe gave a better usd/sgd rate. hmmm.. seem high total fees for SA.. fx, aum, ter add up ~1-1.5% per annum.

Indeed the fees is vy high for SA.
I have done the comparison if I use the money buy AOA instead, the return is much higher than my RI22 portfolio.
Have closed my SA acc and DIY via TDA.

Just go into the app or website. Click your portfolio. Top right corner click the dots, and view Transactions, and you'll see all the portfolio-specific transactions; i.e. when they buy or sell and how many units for each ETF, and the unit price in USD.

This is helpful, thanks

6.5% risk profile vs Simple. Which one best to put emergency fund?

Depends on quantum of emergency.

For example, if 12 mths + total,

Can consider 9+ mths in stashaway higher risk like 10%

3+ mths better to be fully liquid in bank acc

Do you guys usually just leave your money there without monitoring or do you take it out as and when u deem fit?if yes, when to take out your money?

Just throw inside and routinely check. That's all. Difficult to time the market since a buy/sell order take at least 1 business day, unlike if you an online broker where you can sell/buy instantly.

The only thing you should look out for is when your portfolio value drop by a larger than usual margin. This means that prices are starting to drop or have dropped, so it's a good time to go in even more so can earn a bit extra on the way back up.
