Static discharge while charging my Iphone 7

I'm not sure but all I can say is my set doesn't have static discharge issues. Maybe others can chip in their condition on this as well?

TS is over paranoid about this. Even samsung phones have this normal sensation when charging. You want real static discharge go to science centre and try their electric chair.

Which Samsung phone give that shock? Mine don't shock me. Only my xiaomi does. Anyway, I think no big deal since my xiaomi also shock me and it's still working fine.

Tried with my Samsung charger and it still shocks me. So I don't think it's the charger or plug problem.

this has been discussed umpteen times since the previous generation of iPhones and the MacBooks ever since they started using the aluminium chassis. That static touch is normal and either users can put on a casing or reduce it by grounding the phone.

Its sort of harmless if everything is grounded, not a medical concern at all..

i am charging a 7 black. No static experience so far.

Went to epicenter at wheelock yesterday.. Tested out their display set...Apparently, those display sets in their store also have static discharge and it seem to be quite strong.

Haha same I got an iphone 7 normal black . Strangely when I charge without the silicon casing, there is no static discharge. But when I charge with the cover on, there is a slight static discharge at where the camera is. Strange

Is yours a heavy static discharge?

Mine is the opposite..with casing on can't feel discharge only w/o can feel it. And the discharge is just mild..Not sure if it will get heavy as time goes by. If it's gonna get serious as time goes by, I'll go for 1 for 1 exchange since there's 1 year apple warranty.

Mine isn't like a static discharge. Mine is a constant pain whenever I touch the phone while it is charging.
