I can testify to the walking up the stairs after a leg workout thing. But after upping the frequency of squats, now I have no problem. It just takes some getting used to. Anyway, do update me with your stats as they improve, and I'm sure they will very regularly.

Sorry X_slinger, I must've missed your post. I've added them to the list. You have good stats for your body weight, but your body weight so zun 59.9kg meh? Hehe...I think it's better to round off at least to the nearest 0.5kg.

I presume ATG Squat is the same as Full Squat.

Mr. Tank, check out the animated gif: http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/GluteusMaximus/BBFullSquat.html

It is oso on www.bodybuilding.com, here is the link to the vid: ttp://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/2003/barbellfullsquat.wvx

Hope it helps.

It is supposed to be ATG but I guess they chose the wrong guy to demo or the shorts he was wearing was too tight :s13:. They should hv invited captnj or galapogos.

But the one on exrx should be accurate.

captnj, done. Wah, u suka suka add 10kg to your squats. I dunno take how long to add that amount man :p

fishbuff, the one on exrx.net looks more like a full/ATG squat. Anyway, since everyone's flexibility/body mechanics is different, I'll take full/ATG squat as a squat where you go down as far as possible. In most cases this means your calves are touching your glutes.

haha its not really like that. Its that i worked on a weak point so progress happens. You will find that for more advanced trainees, you can stagnate for like 3 -6 monhts even a year! but then, once u fix the weakness, the lift pops up all at once.

i tried yesterday, cannot. body wont respond to go down all the way even with a 60kg weight. fear is great for the knee ligaments to be overstretched and the outward force on the knee. i got big thigh so when reach parallel height, thigh is touching the calves. i will pass on the full squat.

fishbuff, why don't you post a picture/video of your squat rather than a drawing? I guess it's easier to tell with that.

I've requested rockstar to make this a sticky but so far no reply/action yet. Maybe he's busy...

Meanwhile, just bump it up with your new PRs whenever you guys make em, and get those other buggers who aren't on the list yet to join! :)

I would like to want to upate my puny stats. Got my trainer to spot me 2day and managed to do 70kg x 6 rep for bench press.

My BP is 160lbs x 6 reps (which is around 72kg if it's divided by 2.2). BW is 79kg. Weak!
