whatever it is, no matter how strong we are, there are always a lot others out there stronger than us.

Firstly, he didn't mention that he was the best. You yourself mentioned your stats to us when you were 20/21. Should we say that you're boasting too? And he apologized when honestly, I think is very nice of him even though he didn't do anything wrong. So stop trying to put him down or defend yourself. End of topic.

you're not very good with knowing the difference between a general statement and pinpointing someone.

lol derek im with kc on this one ahha, hes decent but well, there are stronger dudes out there at his age. Probably quite a number more aha. Oh yeah and to the clone if hes a clone, make no mistake about it- i think kc was boasting. He was boasting to us but still keeps himself humble. Amazing balance i might add lol.

Do rackpulls instead. Gives you the same stimulation in the upper back and everything else but takes most of the hamstrings and lower back out of the equation. Able to use heavier loads because of the reduced range of motion. you can do hamstrings with good mornings and RDLs.

Trained for 6 years started at 25 - late start old fart.
current weight and height 107kgs 1.76m
have not tested maxes recently but these are my latest working weights
bench press 165kgs x 4
front squats 155kgs x 5 dropped backsquat for 2 months now to focus on these but my last backsquat was 220kgs x 4 or 5. Got pinned at the bottom on the last attempt.
Rackpulls at the knees 300kgs x 5 the last time I tested full range dead was 240kgs x 2

BW = 64kg
Bench = 80kg 5 rm, 90kg 1 rm
Squat = 95kg 5rm, 106kg 1 rm
DL = 80kg 5 rm, 90kg 1 rm

Just realise everyone deadlift seems to be higher then squat =/ I think I am lagging in some ways.

Quite strong for beginner at around 63kg, IF you are doing proper form, full ROM (bar touch chest) and free weight (not machine).

So are you going to 'siam' DL and Squat for the rest of your life if nobody teach? :s22:

A great way to learn those important core lifts is getting ''starting strength'' book by mark rippetoe.

I dont train on my lower body much, maybe cause I am quite new so I focus a lot on my upper body. And yup I do without machine when my friend are with me 90kg x 3 without help and after that I will need help.

So the bar touches your chest at bottom position before going up? Good, quite strong.

But what theory is it that beginner trains upper body first?

It's like do breasts implant, no money so do one side first, got money then do another side. :D

BTW do you train your back as well?

You have strong chest but if your back is not as strong, you'll cause muscle imbalance, posture problem (hunching camel).
