We went there before using voucher n its not good wor, at least i dun find it good.

Went Jade Room at Hotel Royal with groupon voucher and it was not good - too crowded, difficulty booking a slot, food didn't refill, etc.

Went there again without groupon (months after) and paid full price and it was good - not so crowded, food plentiful, hot food section available.

I think Tian Tian Steamboat Restaurant is not bad and is worth a try. It is located near Bugis Junction.

Hai Di Lao at Clarke Quay is a really must-go place for steamboat. Aside from their good food, their amazing service and attentiveness of staff are what makes them really stand out. The queue can get very long but they give popcorn/longans/crackers to snack on while waiting. They even have manicurists at the entrance where you can get your nails done for free. It’s a really unique and cool gimmick for a steamboat restaurant!
