From what i remember, they changed the items included in the packaging. I noticed that the carabiner hook was missing from the carrying case as well.
There should be a warranty card from Westone USA included in the packaging. If not, you would have to register online at
www.westone.com 
This would cover the second year warranty by Westone. In any case if your Westone is damaged or defective in the second year from your date of purchase, you would have to liase with Westone customer service officers and ship the product to USA yourself.
There is a one year local warranty covered by the local service centre for Westone which is located at 60 Marsiling Road, SKM building. Do keep the receipt for verification purposes and you would have to present it if there's any defects with your Westone products.
