Hi SE,
I used to own a Fischer Audio Cosonance.
Despite my constant care, the ear phone been failed twice.
Could you recommend any earphone below $100?
Definitely it has to an in-ear phone.

Currently looking at the following:

- SENNHEISER CX Series (CX 1 to CX 3)

- SHURE SE112

If there's other model, please feel free to recommend it to me.
Not sure if I should still trust Fischer Audio.
You honest opionion is greatly appreciated

What happened to your previous IEMs? Sometimes, we just really can't avoid to manufacturer's defect but of course, they have their corresponding warranty service and earphones need the extra TLC.

Choices that you've given are actually good options, perhaps you can also try JVC FX3X and Audio Technica ATH-IM50 with detachable cable. So just in case the cable is the one faulty, you can just replace the cable itself without buying a new unit that may cost more. Feel free to visit us for auditions.

The very first time, 1 side got busted.
This time round, sound clarity is on an echo mode.
Everything seems "blurry with echoed sound"
Warranty ended on 13 Dec this year.
So it kinda add salt to my wound.

There are 2 question in my mind.

1)For ATH-IM50 , what if it's the ear phone that is faulty instead of the cable?
Would it still cost as much as getting a new one?


2) Why wasn't Shure being recommend at your end ..?

If it is still under warranty, you just need to produce a proof of purchase which is the receipt but if beyond, then that needs to be checked with the service centre.

You have already mentioned Shure and Sennheiser models which we agreed upon, which we think is a good value for money within this price range. Of course, sound is rather personal so we advise to audition first.
