Ya I know where you coming from. Nibbling on way down. 💪

Don't get me wrong. There will be a lot of self doubt along the way. "Why did I buy yesterday and not today when it's 10% cheaper (could happen with volatility nowadays)." "Why didn't I wait a bit longer?"

So I just draw up a rough plan on the back of an envelope to determine purchase points by levels and timing. If it hits a level, buy. If it doesn't, buy when the time comes anyway.

Very curious why people still sticking to DCA when it's on a downward trend for a good month. Sure it's going to rise back in the future but at the moment you are buying something that you know will continue to drop. Doesn't it hurt when you know it's gonna drop but you still keep buying? You might as well buy when it is starting to go on an upward trend consistently again.

Of course you may argue how do you know if it will continue to go down and not up tomorrow? Well if you say that then you must have been bluffing yourself for the past month and continue to buy your losses.

It is not as easy to ride the upwards trend as you think, what if it goes down after you bought it ?
Dca buy the dip because you don’t know when it is the lowest or when it is going up

If I managed to get to 2.2, my average will be brought down to 3..

Then I think I'll be shopping for other ETFs..

Another "you don't know". It is a convenient excuse to give. When you invest I assume you wanna know something. Information is abundant and readily available in today's world. Synthesize those information and plan your moves accordingly.

Let me give you an example.

"You don't know how the market is going to react during this period of COVID-19 pandemic and oil price trade war".

If you belong to the above, well, good luck to you.
