Did anyone receive their STI ETF dividends twice? Those using OCBC as agent bank for CPFIS should check.

As ridiculous as it sounds, OCBC paid me the STI ETF dividend twice to my CPFIA. I sent them a message via ibanking to notify them. They just quietly reversed the second extra payment and pretended they didn't see my message.

OCBC service quality is just going to the drain.

China fully reopens, Ukraine war ends (US is bankrupt).
US & Jap & South Korea MNCs relocating some China operations permanently to South-East Asia. China companies use SG to bypass US restrictions/discriminations.

I think the correction ends here because this region is a net beneficiary of the global supply chain reorganisation.

But the problem is banks have peaked in earnings. Exports continue to decrease, Chinese consumers are savers not spenders. So I don't see much upside.

For STI to move up, the STI components have to move up. If banks are already overvalued, then what are next? Reits?

Um, it's February 3! Stock markets often have a down month. Fairly often a whole down year or more.

This decline in the share prices of ES3 and G3B during one whole month might be a problem if you're trying to pay your electric bill this month using your ETF shares. But ES3 and G3B are assuredly not short-term vehicles. They are long-term vehicles. (Or speculative vehicles, which is a fancy word for gambling. I don't recommend gambling.)
