For G3B should be 15 Jan, ES3 would be mid Feb.

I invested in STI etf through RSP to the DBS Investsaver - which code is it???

also last year the ETF has risen a lot, think mainly due to dbs and ocbc??? Do you think its ok to take some redemption from the etf - maybe 30-40% ??? Will it still continue to up so much in 2026???

thank you.

RSP from DBS IS should be G3B.

Well.. redemption is really up to individual. Some like to collect or reinvest dividends, some think there is still growth, some sell to rebalance..

I'm not sure what happened

My stashaway account bought 15,300 of my funds into G3B

I'm like shocked as I am targeting to pump into ISAC

I'm a dividend collector thinking to use SRS to build growth
But now seems to be another way round...

I will RSP into growth into CSPX instead of ISAC now

Sti etf is great because

There is no dividend withholding tax , no currency conversion risk , we get to see all the companies we invested daily in action and we get to collect dividend higher than US ETFs.

Downside
The growth is much slower than US ETFs
US get exposure to entire world but we had 50 percent of the sti etf in local banks.

But we can argue that our local banks are everywhere in the world.

For 2025 only I believe STI (25%) outperform both Snp500 (18%) and nasdaq 100 (24%) on a total return basis, based on Gemini

Because the banks perform exceptionally well in year 2025.

Only DBS over performed
UOB and OCBC didnt beat the index

The other smaller holdings also perform really well.
On the whole, we do not only rely on the 3 banks. I had the information from Kelvin. Attached YouTube link.

Sti target is 10000 points in 2040.

If true...those buying sti etf will huat until cry. Better than cpf. Dividends to collect plus capital growth.
14 more years to go.

they are still rather firm on this target

but historically speaking, better not to set such targets…
Had enough of hearing Singapore football 2010 then don’t know when
And then there is 30 by 30 and what have you

yeah let's not get ahead of ourselves.

I still remember when people were dissing on STI for decades when it couldn't break 3500 for years.
