STI was above 3300 on Jan 1st. How come 1.99%? Shouldnt it be -20%?
This is taken as part of the S&P Developed BMI where they included 93 stocks from Singapore and not our STI's 30.

Basically it should not be used to compare country vs country performance in the traditional sense..

Damn! We should have had this 93 stocks index and not the 30 stupid stocks that dont reflect the real economy.

This is taken as part of the S&P Developed BMI where they included 93 stocks from Singapore and not our STI's 30.

Any link to this index? (Tried to look for it but couldn't find.) Would be interesting to compare its constituents and weightage vs STI's.

I can't find the list of constituents either, just the country breakdown is available.

Edit: I used this ETF as a proxy as it follows the similar enough S&P Developed Ex-U.S. BMI Index and has the holdings list available but I only found 43 funds from SG.
