isn't it a gain if the gov can swoop in and nationalize the whole company for cheap when it faces a liquidity crunch and need a bail out, especially if it holds < majority shares

If gov bail the company , they will be buying all the shares and turning it into a Pte Ltd. it will be delisted.

If it doesn’t get delisted , it isn’t right to use tax payers money to finance a public limited company

2 lots is 20 shares...At 2.4/share it is only $48...If you got the shares at zero it is $48 profit before deducting any fees...If want to lie, at least make it believable lah...

Even if you say it is 200 shares or 20 lots, you need to buy at $1.6/share for the magical $160 profit...

This kind of thing also want to lie...

Long ago, 1 lot = 1000 shares. I started buying recently then realise the changes.

That is more than 5 years ago...

The guy I quoted did not even buy 5 years ago before the change...

See the post date is in February this year and he claims to be queuing at 2500 STI, so how does he make $160 profit selling 2 lots?

Me also. Having a hard time re-adjusting to the new lot sizes. Anyway I will make sure to check the total price is per what I am able to afford before I act on it :)
