support at 2.54 holds for now.

u all doing DCA one, which date u all choose?

seems evy month ard 22,23 there is huge volume >1M
doubt very much is due to retailers. BB doing DCA oso? :s22:

Should be 1 of the brokers buying for their clients RSP.

If I remember correctly, Phillip Securities (PSBP) buys and sells from open market.

POSB IS goes through shares creation for the ETFs.

Good point.

If true, they abit backward to all-in market order on certain days. I think most good shops use TWAP /VWAP or some higher form of algo to prevent getting sniped.

Or could it be so thinly traded that no amount of smoke grenade can cover for them when they start to buy. Hmm... ...

I was on PSBP many years ago. They use ES3 instead of G3B, and they execute on the 18th each month (or the next trading day) according to their website.

Yes I was with PSBP more than 10 years ago.

Whenever Phillips executed the buy, I noticed there were spikes in volume for ES3 on that day.

From a client perspective, as long the buy price is within the high and low of the day, that is more important.

When I checked back then, the prices were within the highs and lows of the day.

To the casual observer, life in Singapore seems to have regained some semblance of normalcy since the harrowing two months of circuit breaker measures. Once empty streets are once more bustling with cars while shops and restaurants have reopened for business once again. The spectre of Covid-19, which continues to ravage the global economy, appears to be nothing more than a distant nightmare.

i look to buy at cheaper price. indicators will somewhat affect my decisions.
but ultimately i buy and hold rather than in and out.

Good strategy, I also buy and hold.

I find that things like resistance are only known after the fact. I hesitated during the second resistance, and only bought this week after it trended up again.

STI looks extremely cheap now. More than 20% discount from pre-Covid levels. Great for buy and hold long term investors.

SPDR STI ETF and AM NIKKO STI ETF tracks the same index. Why today SPRR dropped more than 1% but Nikko only drop 0.6%?
