Dividend for ES3 incoming in one month

How does it matter? Dividend is like forced sale of part of the ETF.

ES3 is already above 3, while STI is below 3000, because the dividend is priced in. So you sell now, you can take that dividend already. No need to wait.

We should be trimming individual stocks first before etfs.

Hold on to this and collect the dividends and ignore the noises....major double dip is very unlikely within the next 2 years.

That's my plan too. I wanna clean up some individual stocks on sgx and I'll look at sti as an indicator to offload them. Maybe 3300

Grab the incoming 5 cents dividend !
Sell XD for ES3 as the CD/ XD fast in fast out.
Most buyers would forget CD /XD .

The premium ES3 above STI is normal .

Considering the banks cut their dividends the last round, I'm not expecting 5 cents.
