think you need to remove the MBR from your old HDD. try this, boot up with Win 7 OS disc and only HDD connected, and remove the partition of the HDD, but don't re-create the partition. then plug both SSD and HDD back in, let your OS boot (it should boot fine), then re-create partition of HDD in Windows.

alternatively, you can use 3rd party software like the one below to remove and re-create partition.

yea im also thinking about it... but the think is i donno if my pc will startup anot.. there is cases where my power button dosent even power up the
system when i take out or put in my hdd ssd etc but i shall try yea

Ya.. Sata support hot plugging, so can just plug in w/o shutting down. eSata works this way also. IDE drives cannot.

Read somewhere that home versions of windows does not support dynamic disk.. not sure how you manage to convert it thou.

It's a Sata thing.. not much to do with MB.. machiam like USB port.. if you got USB means hot PnP, no need to check whether your comp support it or not.

and where do we bring for servicing if the ssd has any problems?

If you mean genuine insted of validity, buy from shops with hte box should be real. Can try run Intel SSD Toolkit also.

If you using Windows 7 or vista
Start search bar, search disk management
Then right click the hdd reformat.

found it but i got an icon of fail status and there is no option to reformat
it... there is reactivate and delete volume

got it formating now.. full format, perhaps because of some faulty
configuration cost my com to go crazy ?

master drive and slave drive ?

my slave is my ssd while my hdd is master is that correct ?

now is time to set my default directory to my hdd
but screwup my registry

now using cmos to try recover but in the proccess my hdd same pattern again wtf

Did you format as dynamic disk again? Just format as basic disk lah..

need to take out and put in my hdd sata to power it up

just found out the problem

somehow its because of my ssd been a slave that trigger this issue

donno how i did it.. i plug my ssd into another sata3 port and for some reason its been identified as master now...

and everthings well now fooooo.... hope this happiness can last

OS master, slave for data.
Btw why you still using IDE?
AHCI is better for SSDs

guys, my intel 320 just die on me sudd after 3 months of usage, detect as 0gb in bios. Was shocked it dies so soon, nt sure why.

Can someone advise me where should i bring my HDD down?
is the receipt of purchase enough and will that be a 1 to 1 exchange on the spot?

Btw if you got valid prove of purchase, is count from the day you purchase the ssd.

If not, something is really wrong with Intel SSDs
