Those without experience ordering from oversea online stores just order through comgateway. Got questions pick up the phone and talk to them. :)

Yup ship to sg. The order process was smooth. I used Citibank Visa.

I think there is paypal option too, perhaps u may like to try that?

Mine reached the order processing stage. Then I got an email that says only wire transfer allowed when ship to sg.

Chatted with the customer service, it says paypal not allowed also :(

Edit: _another_ customer service personal says paypal is ok...

Wondering if they changed their policies after they received more orders from SG or worst, some have defaulted with fraudulent paypal payments. Just me guessing here, no flaming instended.

I created a Crucial online account (US site), placed the order, opt. for the FedEx International Priority @ USD15 and paid a total of USD$214.99 using Visa, received the Order Receipt email. Question is will the order actually go thru? Had anyone did the same process and already got the SSD?

Just got an email stating that i will have to wire the money in instead. Sigh. I have no idea how to go about 'wiring' the money. And the process just got more complicated with this. And my accounnt still got deducted the amount because i was using my debit mastercard. Sigh.

So does paypal work? It's linked to the same bank account.

how does the intel x25m compare to these crucial drives in the last few pages? i'm in hong kong now looking to get some intel 80gb for 336 bucks.

also what's the word on the street regarding these kingston SNV drives that I've been hearing about? (price = 450sgd for 128gb)

I didn't know that their lowest is only US$11. Hope that crucial will package it well within 0.5kg.

Guys who are worried about weight. Well on the UPS tracking site the weight is labeled as 1LB. which transfers to slightly less than 0.5kg.

If exceed abit need pay another 3usd.

Paypal may not work, it have something to do with the tax exemption when we place the order, read the info regarding this on the bottom of the checkout page.

So anyone successfully wired the funds over? I reckon the cost is gonna fall on us, the consumers usiing this payment method. I reckon if we made a new order and chose paypal as the payment method this wouldn't happen. But im not willing to take that risk until they refund me my $292.
