how is aData S510/S511 compare to it?

SF based SSD has always been performing slightly faster than Marvell based controller.

Somehow i dont trust SF, perhaps due to the 1st impression which OCZ SF Based SSD is going..

But so far nv heard of much issue from other brands like Corsair, Adata etc etc..And recent update seems to solve most issue faced.

For the price, you might wana check out Cybermind, seems like they are selling Corsair Force GT 120GB for $299 at the show but nt sure if it's limited quantity..If not, i guess Adata should be okay..At least the cheaper of the SSD available..

Edit: Just saw MyNextCom pricelist..Force GT 120GB going for $286

If local distros offer intl warranty, they can forget about selling their local overpriced stocks..

Reliability is my top priority. Willing to give up some speed for it.

Same here.

Read on the net that the 8mb bug only happens when power is suddenly cut off from it while booting into the o/s..

Other than that, not much about BSOD..

Mine's been working fine for the past few months too.

Qoue from Slick deals wiki: See the link below to Intel forum:

As I've mentioned in the thread, the "8MB Bug" is still NOT fixed after the August Firmware that was suppose to fix the bug. It might not happen to you, but if you get frequent BSODs (1 BSOD could wipe your entire drive) or hard reset often. I would avoid wait till they fix it or buy the 510 series SSDs which don't have the bug. Reference: http://communities.intel.com/thre...9?tstart=0
