Do i need to update firmware to 000F before using or install OS first then update firmware?

It's probably better to update the firmware before use. But from my own experience, data is always intact.

OCZ Agility 3 120GB @ $138 or Intel 330 120GB @ $156 more worth?

Both from Tradepac pricelist.
Intel 330 is faster, using Synchronous NAND
Agility 3 is using Asynchronous NAND (cheaper and slightly slower)
Most people will not notice the diff in speed between this two SSDs
