Hi all I just got the crucial m4 at TP too. As I brought the laptop from oversea so it's still not due in sg yet. Basically the laptop come with a 750gb SATA hdd and I wish to put this 256gb ssd as my primary OS hdd

I want to know:

1. Can I download the win 7 installation n copy into a cd(iso/ image)
Or thumb drive then use it like normal setup to install the win 7 onto the ssd?
I read in a forum that they upload the win 7 installation file so as long you have a valid cd key can register already

2. What is the process to install win 7 on ssd?
Same like norm procedure? Insert cd, press any key to run win 7?

Ok i've resolved the error... Basically Acronis does a perfect job but somehow when i clone the first time, it partitions the M4 into 2 separate drive whereby the 1st drive is a clone of the previous SSD and the 2nd drive is blank. it caused a lot of BSOD.

So i reclone and this time clone without a secondary drive and works flawlessly.

No problem at all bro.. the software is very straightforward.. during cloning it will ask you for source and destination... SATA HDD will also appear in the list.... if u need more info you can pm me.

Up and running new SSD. Win 7 ultimate took about 30gb. Got to get back some programs and do some proper spring cleaning.
