tried it two or three trips back
love the orange juice, but find the pad thai to be an acquired-taste kind
might be trying it out again this trip
guess it takes some getting used to, missed the orange juice though

yes it's a small (breadth-wise) street, but it's really long
if you walk walk stop stop, can take a few hours to finish...

do remember to try the fruit juices sold by the street vendors
there is pomegranate juice and the juice of a citrus fruit (which is like orange but more yellow/green)
the citrus fruit juice is quite expensive, think about S$5 a bottle but really something different

iirc it's not so far from the main road
what i usually do is take cab, alight at white orchid (watsons)
cross the road and head toward the back of the buildings
it's kind of like a backlane, between buildings
not really a road by itself

mainly knick knacks e.g. accessories, bags, dried seafood, clothes, stationery
basically things you'll see at bugis area push cart

saw that you are going for mango tango
if you like spicy food, don't forget to try som tam nua just opposite mango tango
i usually eat at stn then mt for dessert to dose the fire

hehehe didn't notice, was looking at your google map

i'm a boring person, always having the same thing whenever i visit
som tam nua - yam woon sen (vermicelli salad), spicy pork soup, fried chicken wings, som tam
mango tango - mango aloha (coz i love the milk)

you might also consider ban khun mae (just across the road from mango tango)
the food is quite good, but the last time i visited there was baby cockroaches running along the table...

if u like variety... go chidlom (central) ... the top floor got a place like marche style restaurant.

for sharksfin, try the red scala restaurant opposite chinatown hotel in chinatown.

u should try mookata (thai style steamboat + bbq). there is a few ard bkk... need to find them.

haha mookata i tried in sg.. will look around if there is any in bkk i guess..

Board the boat, the conductor will come to u. 15 bahts per pax per trip. Then u gotta take note the pier u wan alight liao.
