higher rated panels means better colors? will the other specs like response time and refresh rate be different too?

If possible, read the reviews for each monitor. The same panel can be tuned differently by different manufacturers, but the base performance is the same.

PRISM+ uses older Samsung panels, a.k.a their VA stuff are older than the newest gen Samsung G series panels.

I got list a few Dell and Alienware leh.

But mostly cos Dell don't make good gaming monitors at the lower end. Most people aren't paying $300 for a 1080p TN S2421HGF.

The Dell S2721DGF looks pretty good though. LG nano IPS 1440p panel but still a bit too expensive. I personally think Dell QC is a bit better than Acer.

Thanks for mentioning the Dell S2721DGF. Quite a good deal imo. Almost dropped my bucks on the LG 27GL850.

One of the LG nano ips monitors. Probably the off branded ones. Still cheaper than prism for 27" 165hz IPS. Around 320$ and I estimate 40$ for shipping.

But this is a gamble for panel lottery and no warranty so its not advised
