Any recommendations for a 49 inch widescreen?
Use case 60% productivity MS (office applications), 20% gaming and 20% netsurfing.
Gaming wise not very fuzzy, don't need 200+ refresh rate, ultra fast latency

Was looking at
  • Samsung Odyssey OLED G9
  • LG UltraWide 49WQ95C (IPS)
  • Gigabyte Aorus CO49DQ
Was browsing the ultrawide subreddit and seems like many OLED users say that its not great for text especially small font sizes, anybody has experience?

Asus XG27AQDMG WOLED monitor on sale for about $999 after vouchers on Lazada. Price close to MSRP.

hear 45GX950A need wait till July, we will be last place to recieve it.

go write to lg and complain them

I actually wrote in to LG SG to ask. They said Q4.
I hope you are correct... not them. Been waiting for this since announced beginning of year.
It's the only reason since 2023 late that I have held off from buying the current 1440p 45".

That was what I was thinking. Why SG or maybe S.E.A. get the crap treatment??

Other parts of the world get it in April, we wait until Q4. WTF sia??

oled burnin

in short you change oled 2 to 5yr then oled is for you, if you use your montior like me for over 10yr, oled is not for you unless you dont mind changing oled every 5yr

need factor that into your benefit/cost analysis 2 oled = 1 LED = what the benefit/cost

Also for the health reasons OLED will make user stick longer in front of screen and less outdoor activities, avoid if possible.

Worth it. Once you go OLED, you won't go back.

Burn-in not really a problem for modern OLEDs with their built-in protection like pixel shift and pixel refresh.

Hi all, I’m looking for a 2k 27” gaming monitor with 180hz or higher. Nothing too high end as I game much lesser now. Any recommendations please?

Ok, I'm trying OLED. Bought the gigabyte mo27q2 off shopee at 683 and will be complementing it with a cheap Acer ips monitor which is meant more for work. This way, I can avoid text fringing issues which is a big negative for me
