Lot 1729 Model 1796

I have been using it daily since the day i got it, so far i'm not really bothered by the screen as i don't really notice it. Even a 1.2k to 1.4k ultrawide monitor, Acer predator x34 or 1.8k to 2k Asus pg348q are prone to backlight bleeding. It comes down to how bad it really is and IF there is a little bit, how fussy u are as a consumer.

Thanks for the updates.
I have seen worse bleeding in earlier batches. Guess 1729 is getting better.

Ordered mine from Courts Online:

Got the i5 8GB 256GB SSD Cobalt Blue Set (With Keyboard Cover, Pen & Arc Mouse).

Total paid $2243 after applying a $60 voucher (Promo Code: FREE60).

That's probably the only discount i found online.

Downside is i got till wait till 9 September for the Delivery.

Wonder when the LTE version will be out.

Wonder how battery life will fare on LTE version. Guess will drain faster

probably nearer to christmas

definitely will drain battery life. got wifi use wifi. if not just turn on lte.

alot of places have wifi but do to my work. i don't just use it in an office or cafe.

but sadly for a premium product

the screen issue is disappointing

I wonder why surface book is not sold in SG? Too expensive?

Think at Thos price range. There is many slim notebook/tablet PC with better spec. Most important, Ram, SSD and battery is easily replace or repair.

look at the bottom of the screen, it is brighter.
But his screen is not that bad.
:s13: so far so good. if really want to point out bleeding, its there. Regular use wise never really see it. Looks like i got a pretty decent set

I thought old and new keyboard the same? As in not much difference right? How much is the extended warranty? They cover another 3 years?

New keyboard is the cloth like material. nicer to touch :s13:
Extended warranty iirc is 200++ not another 3 years. add 2 more years

Bingoo... Idk if its worth getting anot. but i recall, they cover accidental dmgs all these

If you r referring to 'Microsoft complete' warranty, it is only + one more year, total 2yr, I asked them before.
