Had checked with MS customer service officer. The lady told me should be able to receive the device on 22 Aug. keep a lookout pls

I don't know much about back light bleed. Is it common with laptops? Guess ipad doesn't have but wondering if laptops have it.

So far, i dont notice on the laptops I owned or those in my company. My SP4 doesnt has it.

Hmm in view of the premium price but lack of premium screen I am tempted to avoid SP5. Just too much risk of disappointment, especially if they decide to fix only for next year model.

So far, i dont notice on the laptops I owned or those in my company. My SP4 doesnt has it.

u can wait for awhile. When SP4 first came out, it has the same issue. But older batches do not have such issue.

I will be waiting. Surface is a good laptop replacement, of cos for office works, not for serious gaming.

Doesn't have USB C, doesn't have thunderbolt 3

Even worse, intel announced 8th gen CPU which is up to 40% faster than 7th gen kaby lake, which is having quad core, compared to current dual core

According to reports, manufacturers will start selling the new laptops with 8th gen starting from sept

Which model did you get? I ordered my 2nd one on last Friday now it’s dispatched coming from shenzhen. Maybe you should contact the Support...

Just received mine today m3 128gb. pretty pleased with it although a bit of light bleeding is seen... not sure if I want to return to get a better display.

overall m3 fit my needs. happy enough. good for me to play remote ps4 stream. speakers are excellent for a tablet.

Personal feedback regarding the return process(due to backlight bleed).

- Goes thru Microsoft chat to initiate a exchange request(Goes smoothly).
- Waited 4 days for courier to call for the collection of the tablet.
- Singpost stated that they are only able to do collection during the day(which is ridiculous as most people need to work to afford the tablet).
- Contacted Microsoft again to request for a evening collection(still waiting for a follow up call from Microsoft) while giving them feedback regarding Singpost.
- Asked them could I just walk in to a store to do a exchange and was told that Microsoft do not have any walk in center in Singapore.
- Hope they could change a courier to avoid such a lengthy process.

Overall experience: Bad

What abt bringing the device down to any of the singpost branch?

oic. how bad is ur backlight bleed?
I posted a pic of the demo set at Courts a paeg back, how is it compare to that?
