if i withdraw from the exam and resit in the next opening does that mean my gpa isnt affected and will only be calculated upon completion of module (ie the test is completed)

im a freshie so if i didnt opt for the resit option during ecr how would that work?

correct.. but if u go and take exam but fail and resit, the f grade of gpa 0 will be included when they are calculating ur grade for that module after u pass the resit.. can be smth like because u resit, u pass the resitpaper and ur grade end up A, it only pull up by 0.05 etc, compared to if u pass on first try get A, ur gpa difference is 0.50 etc.

just one more question, do I need an MC that covers me the whole day or dont need an MC

From what I know, don't need to submit any MC. Just don't turn up during the exam day and they will automatic give you the W grade

yes, it works as you've described - it won't affect your GPA if you withdraw so personally I'd say it's better not to take the exam if you aren't prepared for it

I think the resit will be automatically offered to you but I'm not 100% sure. You can always contact student support to ask them

Need Specimen Exam Paper(SEP) for BUS101 Management.

So basically I think I missed the time period when they open the Specimen Exam Paper(SEP) for BUS101, any kind soul out there is able to send me the file?:(

this guy knows wassup.

but, if you are a diligent person, it shouldn't matter that much to you. because you can always self study, do as many meaningful internships as you can, grad with a local degree cert from SUSS and get a good job in the future. this is if you really want to specialize in HR and do not have any other choice but to join SUSS. mark my words, in the next GES, FT HR students will have the lowest median salary.

so if you're joining the program, make sure you stand the **** out.

Actually i realized for fresh HR graduates with totally no hr experience before and if your a hr degree holder. the jobs is only 1.8 to 2.0k for salary if u see on jobstreets where the position states ,"no experience required" etc.

I think because hr dont need a degree to be one so they pay diploma pay. In addition, hr can only start as recruiter also (o and a level cert can be one already), cannot start as compensation or learning and development specialist etc.. And i think because hr outsource to 3rd party to do their hr process and alot of things can be done with technology and one person do everything kind.haha

Those HR position, no experience required and with degree that states salary around 2.5 to 3k dont exist one. It is actually AIA or prudential company, they dont really have a hr position. When u go down for interview,they will ask you be insurance agent instead so alot people say when grad, u can ask for around 3k, i dont know where they get this amount from.lol

For 3k salary for hr, most likely on the job portal,it will state "4-5 years experience required" and "Degree"

interesting insight. most of the people I know who progressed well in their HR careers come from a recruiting background, from rabak companies like recruitexpress and the like. so its very possible to hold a well paying HR job just by possessing a diploma; its possible.

another way which is definitely considered a fast-track route would be joining grad programs in the HR function - just have try to find these.

also i believe that there are fresh grad hr jobs that pay well, say $2.8k and above - but of course they would hire the cream of the crop for these jobs.

ya so far i havent seen any yet tat pay 2.8 for fresh grad hr( or probably they not hiring at the moment so cant find). i apply job since early last year already. 99% pays max 2k basic for fresh grad.. 2.8k fresh grad hr have,but its government office hr job.

ya if i work as recruit express now,i will get around 1.4k basic lor.. for degree holder but probably because its a commission based job.My friend whose working there now with a levels, his basic is 1.3k

I think another reasons is because they realized diploma hr and degree hr not much difference in terms of the things we study so they purposely make the requirement only diploma, so can pay lesser.. hr now like sunset job liao.
