Did she attend the interview or got rejected without going interview? If without interview, guess her GPA not meet their criteria. If after interview, guess she didnt perform well enough. I think can write in to appeal, but not to reapply, maybe next yr. But best u call to check. Wouldnt want to give wrong advice. All the best.

Thanks alot. I actually graduated last year, but was rejected by NTU and therefore trying a 2nd go this year. Do you think work experience will be beneficial if i talk about it during the interviews? Cause I have been working ever since I graduated.

but I think the website allow the party to apply for it again. Should she try to appeal again ? or will the system actually has a history of it getting the rejection already?

Idk why she got rejected thou:/ possibly due to weak cca records and when she asked them during OH they said at least 3.2 but when I called them up they say its abt 3.1 .. you need strong cca records too but I gusss passing English isn't really an issue

Yup went for interview. Hmm I guess there's no harm in trying again ba. Worse thing is just waste the application fees, but maybe if this year the applicants GPA lower, then maybe you get a chance?
sorry to say but this year is more stringent too. this is the fourth case I've seen straight away rejection.

Hi I see that last yr people with borderline 3s were at least short listed for interviews and even got an offer while this year people with gpa 3-3.1 got rejected without an interview. Has the standards rose so high from last yr or do they look at more than gpa?
