I was from track and field, participated in some competitions (never win HAHHA!) and now working in marketing position full-time! Hopefully we get an offer!!!

Hi guys, miracle happened! I got accepted into the full time accountancy. Guess my interview wasn't so bad after all. Don't lose hope!

You guy or girl? If you guy still got 3 years to try, so don't worry. If you are girl you can choose to take a gap year and try to improve your job experience and community service. Guess they value these 2 alot. But judging your GPA I would say it's quite a decent chance ba. Don't worry!

Don't worry, I was on waiting list last year they say wait till June then will get back, end up over a week later they send me offer email. I'll be in 17/18 intake for FT Finance though. Damn NS...

I'm just really worried I heard that usually you'll get the offer earlier then june also because I went for the second batch interview. it's been two weeks since they said I'm in waitlist? perhajps those who got in are hogging to the seat because other UNIS haven't release outcome for application unless their GPA is 3.9 and above! so I guess I gotta wait:/

You know... I'm currently in the pioneer batch for UniSIM, and my GPA was much higher than yours... I was still on the reserve list, but I got a place eventually. Just food for thought.

Waiting list to offer duration

how long did it take for them to give you the offer. its been 3 weeks for me but I have yet tp submit my final sem results too.

I was already serving my final year of NS when I got the offer from unisim. I got the offer a little over a month after the interview I think. For my batch, I don't think GPA was such a huge criteria back then. There were people that got into our cohort with GPAs of borderline 3s, so the interview sessions, CCA records and etc would have played a great part. Not sure if things have changed, but I'm pretty sure it's harder to get in now. Especially for marketing, since it's so popular.

but now our offer is dependent on our interview results right? I do know it is so much harder because i see people with 3-3.1 getting rejections without an interview. I guess they see an overall portfolio which consists of good gpa and other activities such as cca and work exp as well.

Yup, you're quite right. Although my GPA was considered to be quite good, my CCA record and list of achievements was just decent. The two interviews definitely play a big part in getting an offer. But seriously, all of you, just chill. One of the reasons you're on the reserve list is because unisim has to wait for the buggers before you to accept or reject their offers. Just pray all goes well.

HAHA what was your gpa? I am just very tensed ah .Quite nerve wrecking to be on the waiting list. Thats why.

Got a 3.5 hahahahaha! To me it's quite good, but can't compare to those 3.9 gpas of NUS and NTU
