At least you have the etextbook. My friends at NUS/NTU have been buying all the textbooks themselves because no textbooks are provided regardless of electronic or physical. The textbooks you find online are different from the etextbooks we get. Those are just pdf files but the etextbook have a variety of links and activities in the textbook that are useful for learning. You don't have to be vulgar for being more entitled than others.

I'm being vulgar because I have to travel quite a distance and expect to get hardcopy textbooks. Not because of being entitled than others. The pdf textbooks I found are the same as what SUSS has provided. No difference. The only thing I don't like is that the SUSS etextbook cannot be downloaded or exported out due to copyright. No worries. I'll have my ways to get what I want.

Can go to student portal -> course materials content checklist -> respective faculty and see if there is any textbook or reading to be collected. SUSS is shifting toward e-textbook from 2019, so alot of the modules no longer give out physical textbook.

If wanna buy phyiscal textbook, can go Canvas -> iBookstore to order your physical textbook. Have to wait till your module load onto Canvas first before you can do so.

E-Textbook is also located at iBookstore, can create a VitalSource Bookshelf account and sync e-textbook to VitalSource Bookshelf desktop apps or mobile apps.

Hi Majimax,

How do I know if there are physical textbooks that I have to collect? If it states that the material is available in canvas learning management system, does it means that only e-textbook is available and I do not have to collect any physical textbooks?

Hi, could you state which faculty (e.g. School of Business), course (e.g. Business or Accounting) and module code under course materials content checklist in order for me to take a look.

Is there any time limit for the english proficiency test once we start the test? How many attempts do we get?

Must do by 17 Feb 2019, 23:55hrs.
Attempt only once for each quiz. There is no time limit even though they suggested to do it in 30 mins or so. Hence, you can think this through without worry about time. I suggest to score full marks because this will help you to pull your essay results without worries.

Anyone taking a course with minor? There is a requirement to have at least 30cu of level 3 from the major modules.. apparently all the level 3 major mod are in the electives, none in the compulsory. so meaning to say i actually do not have a choice to choose which electives mod to take?
As i can only take all the level 3 in my major electives to meet the 30cu requirement..

Got any tldr on how to write essay the format they wanted anot

Huh? What is tldr?

For writing style format, I can suggest to refer to SDE101 Essential English Skills or COR160 Essential Academic Writing Skills page 296. For in-text citation and reference, I believe it's APA format.

I am interested to signup for the Bachelor in General Studies and will likely to choose subjects that are mainly in finance, however I don't know if that is a wise choice.
I didn't want to sign up for Bsc in Finance because there are many fundamental subjects like accounting, law, business subjects which I have already learnt from my MBA and ACCA.
I wonder can we just sign up for the bachelor in general studies and only choose those finance/advanced finance subjects?

i think can,but not sure whether there will be enough finance modules to cover the required amount of credit units.
