Apparently, according to old threads, SIT cutoff is now like 3.6+/- with relevant diploma. 3.5 apparently can get rejected without interview. A few years back, my friend with 3.56 can get into ntu accountancy. Really v competitive now.

Hihi. PT BHRM 19/01 intake here, applied too and not accepted yet. I went to the SUSS open house last saturday and spoke to the HR programme folks. Apparently acceptance into the course is fairly easy as they're not looking at grades and if you meet the standard requirements i.e. 21 years old, diploma/A levels, 2 years FT working experience or currently employed etc. But it was clearly stressed that the PT and FT curriculum will be aligned and it will be a rigorous degree to graduate from. They have not started calling for interviews yet but they usually will only call for an interview if they're want to ascertain that the student is 100% that he/she wants to go ahead with a specialized degree like HR or if the student has no prior suitable background. Hope this helps ease your worries as it did ease mine abit.

most ppl are doing it, BUT u dont have to follow suit. what works for them might not work for u.. just try out first and see how and adjust from there.

Using the below as an example, can someone help me to understand this better.

• JAN THURS TERM 2 WEEK 1
• JAN THURS TERM 2 WEEK 2

So you are right, there are 2 terms in 1 semester. Every term lasts 7 weeks.
Basically, the academic calendar repeats every semester.
Term 1 - 7 weeks
Term 2 - 7 weeks
Followed by 2 weeks of revision
Ending with 2 weeks of exams.

Thanks for clarifying this! So then the WEEK 1 and WEEK 2 stated on the module's timetable, that reflects the examination dates right? So if a module state that it is TERM 1 WEEK 2, that would mean that the exams would be on the 2nd week(2nd half) of the examination period correct?
