Maybe you can call the school and ask? When did you apply? Should be out before May end. Because what I understand is that, if you going to apply tuition fee loan. The cut off if I am not wrong is end May.

Hi! Those who are applying/applied for BA English, with this degree can you become a MOE english teacher?

To be honest...I'm not sure. I applied for this degree simply because it's been my lifelong dream to be an English major, hahaha. I'm currently working at a private firm as Editorial so I don't have any plans to become an English teacher. Maybe you could call SUSS and check with them!

Hi! Those who are applying/applied for BA English, with this degree can you become a MOE english teacher?

To be a MOE English teacher, you need to have qualifications in Education too. If that's what you want, you can earn the degree first before applying for the PGDE at NIE (where you learn things like pedagogy and classroom management). With the PGDE, you would be qualified to teach at MOE schools.

Alternatively, just apply directly to NIE's degree program and indicate English as your teaching subject.

How much time will it take to complete the part time degree from SUSS?

Depends on how many modules you take per semester.
For basic degree, the fastest would be 3 years [you need to do 4 modules per semester for 3 semesters + 5 modules (4 program modules + 1 SUSS Core) per semester for the other 3 semesters].
For honours degree, the fastest would be 4 years.

Any kind soul can share how are interviews for part-time courses conducted? It is less tedious & more relax comparing to their full time courses which requires the stressful 4-stage interview? TKVM!
