The REIT portfolio damn nice so far. Made about 10% already, since I bought when it was quite low (around the time Syfe introduced 100% REIT portfolio couple weeks back).

Yea, glad I opened too but I put small money only back then, wish hav put more. Meanwhile my other reit with bond portfolio is still red -4% (54% reit, 45% bond), I wonder if syfe will reoptimize this back now, I'm somehow sure when I first opened this wasnt like this, more like 70/30 or am I just imagining stuffs.

Yes, initially it was either 70/30 or 80/20. Then when everything crash, Syfe re-optimised to the current weightage. A lot of people (including myself) made a lot of noise. That's why now got the 100% REIT option (which is significantly better, in my opinion).

I went in on the 100% REIT option on 3rd May. Now sitting at 11.5%.

Looks like we bought around the same time, my gains are roughly there too.

How much does one have to invest in to get a dividend of $500/mth? I hope to have advice from someone with more experience. Also, what is the best to invest in long term for dividends?

You should learn to Google very basic things. If you want 500 per month, it'll mean you're looking at 500x12 = 6k in dividends per year.
Assuming dividends are 4% return per year, you need 150k invested to get 6k dividends per year.

If one had entered before the drop with 100% reit it may not necessarily be significantly better.

What would have been really good is if there was a 100% option at the start. Then after they switched to 50/50 (though not the best timing but still decent), when reits dropped further switch to 100% to buy more. Now would huat already. Too bad no such option at the start
