agree..syfe trade is a bit crappy as the pricing is super delay... (I set buy when the price was around say $25... I see that the share price have dropped to 24.50, but my order still not filled..was wondering if I should cancel..

then price dropped further to $23 but still my order not filled...then the next moment, I got notification that I got the stock at $24.80... like cheating on me like that..

guess syfe trade is not good for volatile stock... sigh..
Market order right? I had the same experience as well. Placed a market order and it was pending for damn long, which doesn't make sense for market order?

You guys really need to open your eyes big big with brokerage platforms. Be it limit order or market order, there is good reason to believe that fractionalisation can lead to poor price execution.

If you want to trade fractional shares use a platform with scale la, like IBKR. You think syfe trade got the volume to fractionalise?

the us stock exchange is still based on min. of 1 share. so for fractional shares, need other traders to "group" together to make it at least 1 share, then can go through the stock exchange. so brokers like ibkr will have advantages over small or new brokers. it's a volume game. if u want fast execution, better to buy in full shares.

The 30% tax on dividends cannot be claimed back. Make sure you also have w8ben form filled and submitted or else ur share sale will also be taxed 30%.
