Hi,

Regarding the cash credit given by Syfe, I have confirmed with Syfe Trade live agent that cash credit will behave like oil on top of water in a water dispenser...U will need to expense all ur funds first before u can 'touch' the cash credit credited by Syfe. expense = trade in stock market.

If before u manage to spend that USD22 (SGD30 cash credit), u inject further funds in, ur funds will again be the first to be used.

so whoever said that u need to "all-in" ur funds in syfe trade and den subsequently sell all ur stocks and receive USD back is right...this is the only way to "earn" that SGD30+30...

EDIT: You can also withdraw all ur funds first then just use ur cash credit solely to buy a stock…after that sell it and that cash credit would have converted to ur funds too..
I say one haha

Oh ya. This method should work too! Thanks for the great tips.

Does not support pre post.
i find this a shame considering syfe trade is from singapore but they dont support pre post...

i mean normally ppl dont trade during pre post but Ny timing really falls into our usual sleeping time...would have been nice to let us trade (react) during pre post.

can bombard me for being a noob but hey... if their target audience is sgreans then surely i wont be the only 1 upset about lack of pre post.

Erm I don’t think because they are Singapore they cater to sg time?

i don’t think that’s how a broker that caters to overseas market work.

i don’t think syfe is operating in other regions like us, europe, oceanic… most SEA countries have roughly same timing as us too..

1 can say the partner syfe works with doesn’t support pre post but i don’t buy nor accept it.. certainly they can do better

anyway these are constructive feedbacks for them… i got no vested interest in any of the brokers… whoever offer lowest comm highest features wins at the end of the day

Of course anyone can do better.
But you are suggesting that just because they are Singapore based they should provide pre and post to cater to sg time?

then like that FSM1, those bank brokers aren’t catering even though they are based in sg?

boss… just to clarify pre and post market are determined by NYSE and it is considered legitimate trading hours as well… not because i as a sinkie demand americans abide to my timing

afaik it is a norm to provide pre and post market trading and syfe’s competitor eg tiger moomoo all provides them (ibkr tda i’m not sure but i believe they provide as well)… i wont be considering banks’ broker because they are still stuck in the old era where commission fees are $10, $20+ so i hope u don’t find them worthy to compare as well

I know but let me remind you of what you said… you are talking about target audience.

I’m saying it doesn’t mean offering pre/post trading is the value proposition to target Singaporeans

Im not sure if I agree with your assessment that it is the norm. Tiger and moomoo just 2 of them even if you include IBKR and TDA doesn’t make it the “norm”

this is just 2 person with 2 diff opinions talking and there will never be an answer or truth unless syfe eventually reveals (be it successful or not) whether prepost trading affected their eventual business

and since we will never know there's no point continuing this debate..
