I read in another Msia forum IBKR long time (before Syfe) already can fractional share. It is just when selling fractional shares a reader share say need to wait for about 10 mins to be filled. That is also the same question I ask earlier for Syfe fractional selling is fast? A reader with Syfe say it is fast.
yah it is fast! almost instantly!

i can vouch for that reader too

Ibkr? i tremble at using it ........extremely lousy UI , u sure u also read the comments on the twitter too abt it? i m not gonna test it on IBKR
i dont have ibkr CS 's email too , for all other brokers, i can instantly email their CS

IBKR UI has been complained for many times even in the other Msia forum. But the 35 cents fees are just too attractive so some ppl trained to navigate with the UI. If IBKR don't have 35 cents fees you see this group of supporters want to learn to navigate or not. End of day about monies lor.

Can I ask something? Say you use Syfe trade buy ETF123. Then you also have Syfe Wealth Custom ETF123. Are both of these in separate portfolio even though they are the same stock?

it is so sad rite??! Actually i wrote in to syfe to make some gd suggestns, esp after seeing the youtube video which i recently attached! I wanna syfe to improve too (no1 is perfect)

sometimes i chose to Pm certain pp is cos i dont wish to keep chatting here cos i scared certain pp have an impressn i luv syfe so much….. & then i get bombed…..

separate just rem :
-syfe wealth is alwys syfe initial robo which we knew since day one

1When doing trading??! Syfe trade will do your trading although the etfs are the same
Cos their benefits etc are entirely not the same

u have to tell urself they r diff platforms/app

it s for the benefit of syfe wealth users hence syfe trade is added onto the the syfe wealth app

also, fsm cannot let u rsp anytime u like it, u have to follow their stipulated dates… furthermore fsm dont have two diff platforms to operate (so nt to compare them)

Syfe trade is designed to target consumers who are not willing to pay mgt fees and wanna it foc (free trades)
(Are there such a thing for long? We r not sure)
Syfe wealth is for those who wanna lump a basket of etfs together (to diversify) and to see its overall movement all in 1 app
Without the need to q 1 by 1 for each of the etf and to sell later

I hated it when Lse is w ibkr
My fav reit is w uob kh
My…. W fsm
Fsm is the next lousiest ui after ibkr! Uobkh is no better but they recent done a marvellous upgrade (spending for consumers)
I got no choice Cos at that point there is no moo/tiger at all
Now it s so gd spending all using 1 app (the cost of it is worthy) w great CS & ui…..
The rates r decent, if one shd complain less, we all knew there is no perfection!
so moo is best!

i am more of surprised why did u only ask this qn by now when u all along knw i m alwys at most or the robo threads & syfe thread since day1. U must be:
- affected by pofma or pfof right? I remove the whole pfof out to a single thread
It is so much cleaner! To sweep the dirts out from the stained carpet after the pfof experts littered here!
- it is also inconceivable that 1 will consider the use of both syfe wealth and syfe trade (even if the same etf is considered as 1 same item! Approved by syfe) , or even to hypothesise that qn:

why would anyone still use syfe wealth : just2 buy the same etf when syfe allowed u to(treat both platform as one item)? Much cheaper (even w huge amt of pfof loaded) just to use syfe trade alone (esp to those who alwys scream robo fees r ex without rebates, u r one of them i think) isnt it?

dont over think, dont… pls dont
If one has to keep making such comparisons and hypothesising the obvious, bringing out forex/worst pfof
1 should go b an auditor/Cia agent…..

i dont usually address all such (behind the thkg process of 1 person) qns ie so personal online (as u dont like PM, so i have to say it here)

for those who r stil confuse, read the summary: (i m of NO affiliation w all my sharing, i have aplenty of brokers but i can only use 1 eventually)
this is for all those who are Still not sure

in short Tiger and Moomoo (all the animal /pets) but gd news of moomoo soon w CDP?!
So sorry they couldnt do UK /LSE (cant do ireland-domiciled ) like FSM

i m not gonna take on other new brokers like Usmart - although he sees potential in its tech features!
i will pray hard w CDP features by moo instead
even if it has free gifts !!!!!!!!! i m not gonna........
The reason why i toyed w Syfe trade is cos it is on my apps, and it is offered to existing Syfe wealth user first

Syfe trade (doesnt hve web versions) and only USA (though 2 free trades) although w simple Interface(he claimed) i felt it is NOT wholesome enough-only usa
i dislike if need to use CDP, go to broker A
if need to trade HK, go to Apps B
Do note:
GST Notice

TD Amer 0 comm? and how IBkr do it cheap? how they do it, dont ask me, ask the CS or shout out to the youtubers ! Alwys check w the horsemouth (but there is a US25 wdrawal fee)
Long account opening time (TD A)?!!!!

Wanna Live data by IBKR?? pay for it or to use his method
He is right to say that in professional forums, many claimed ibkr is Buggy!
wanna it less buggy? get Saxo but for Hvy user (cos of they charge u a fixed fee for usage)
Your choice!

But according to some posters, Syfe's partner does PFOF. So in the end still got PFOF I guess.

I just LOVE how they throw shade at PFOF when they are using a PFOF brokerage to execute trade. You want to turn away when there is clearly something going on, or are you going to ask Alpaca/ Syfe trade, clear, unambiguous questions cc-ing MAS inside so you can invest in peace?

Remember the Robinhood/Citadel/gamestop fiasco. Don't take things for granted when **** hasn't hit fan.

The two questions I would ask syfe trade is

1. How do you initially come to the assessment that Alpaca securities is able to execute trades competitively?

2. How do you monitor and be satisfied that Alpaca is able to execute trades competitively, and your clients are not over-paying through huge bid-ask spreads?

Alpaca is literally described as enabling platforms like syfe to be another robinhood

Can be true but it really depend on how big and frequent is your trade. PFOF will affect this group of traders more. If you are a small time retail investor that invest small amount say USD 1 for each stock fractional shares that PFOF is almost non-existent in that scenario.

Any idea if they are using their PFOF platform Alpaca to execute the trades, or are they using another broker to do it?

Also what's the similar competitor that you are referring to?

Thanks in advance!

I thought PFOF is more for fractional trade which is US market? SGX don't think support fractional shares

Closest competitor would be tiger, moomoo for e.g in terms of fee for SGX stocks,ETF
